If you're looking to book a gig with us, please read this! And this... New Laws Regarding Smoking in Pennsylvania John & Peter's has filed for exemption from Pennsylvania's smoking ban. As a result, NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING, FOR ANY REASON. Unfortunately, this includes BAND MEMBERS, BAND EMPLOYEES, AND FAMILY. After 9:00PM, no one under the age of 21 is permitted without proper ID. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please take this into consideration before booking a show with us, as anyone under 18 will be asked to leave. We have a small parking lot behind the venue for staff and performers- parking is on a first-come, first serve basis. Evening band are advised not to arrive for load-in until 7:30, especially on weekends. The staff shift change is 7:00- this prevents unnecessary shuffling of vehicles in the lot and increases your chances of actually being able to park here.
Performers are responsible for providing their own soundman. With the exception of weekend afternoons, bands may either play for tips or set a price for the door, with with all proceeds going to the band. Band members are entitled to half price on pitchers and $.50 discount on drinks. Bands are responsible for payment of food/drink tabs at the end of the night. Barring special events, acts playing on weekend days receive $50, plus tips. |
